    php.ini

    Posted 13 years 10 months ago
    • I am working on a new site and I received this error... "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 428506 bytes)" when trying to view the template in the template manager.

      I talked to NS and they said I needed to put a php.ini in the cgi-bin folder. I did, but it isn't making a difference. So now I am not sure if I did it correctly. I simply created a document called it php and saved it as an ini file.

      The only line I put in the document is "memory_limit = 64M"

      Can someone help me get this correct?

      Thanks!

    • Just to clarify the file is "php.ini"

      and the only thing inside it is :
      memory_limit = 64M

      Correct? If so, you can ask your host, but it may take a minute for the host to refresh. I know I used to always have trouble with Godaddy and this. They would say it would take at least 8 hours. It got better over the years, but im not sure how it is now.
