Hi,
am in a desparate situation... getting all the flak from people...
my site is such, that pages are given to various individuals to edit.
I have a unique problem....
My last theme was Versatility 2.
I updated it to Versatility 3 sometime ago.. But my "Authors" were unable to edit their pages. Hence I downgraded to Versatilty 2 back again.
Thinking it was probably an incompatibility with the new menu system, i installed Colormatic, but to no avail... i have posted this topic in the versatility 3 forum a month ago.. but never got a response....
People can edit only when the theme is Veratility 2... no other Theme seems to enable the Editing option...(i.e. the Edit Logo simply does not appear!!!!)
someone... please.. have a solution?

i am giving you an "author" access to 3 pages. Sometimes my "Authors" are able to edit one page, but not the others that are assigned to them.

Also your link on Versatility 2..
I don't see any problem using firefox 2.

You are right. I am able to edit the same on both, FF 2 and IE 7 at home on my homepc.
However, when i try the same login id and pwd on my office pc, it does not show the edit icon. I came to know of this problem when some people wrote to me on this error. I used their login id and tried. They are right. You cannot edit.
The problem actually exists. Can you try "Editing" on some other PC Please? You will probably understand what i told you.

Behring Bautista, You are too good.....
I waited on this problem for a month... and guess what I realised after all the ordeal... the Edit Icon would not come because of the cookies.... it just needeed a simple - refresh !!! that's all!!!
Behring Bautista spent over 1/2 an hour taking me thru all the nuances... thanks a ton boss!!
