Are there any Joomla 1.7 templates that can be made wider? Most RT templates seem to be about 960px wide and Gantry restricts increasing the template width to about 960px.
But, I need template width of about 1060px for this website www.tvcatch-up.com.au/7-freeview.html
If I was using Joomla 1.5 I know there are RT templates that I can use, but I have installed Joomla 1.7 and really want to use the latest version of Joomla.

We have several options but it is best that you find the template you prefer and then we can tell you the best way to proceed as some templates are different to others.

Excellent, thanks David. The instructions on that linked post you provided worked a treat on rt_quantive_j16 template too. It would be great if future RT themes for Joomla 1.7 had this feature built into them, you have already provided the instructions on how it can be done.
