A Tale of RocketTheme Addiction

    • Hello, my name is Kevin DuCommun, and I'm addicted to RocketTheme.

I first found RocketTheme a year ago, and found myself drawn in by its promises of template glory and exciting community. What I didn't realize was just how addictive it could become. Long nights of furiously refreshing the page at the end of month hoping to see the name of a new template pop up on the site.

It wasn't long before I had to have more RocketTheme, and Andy then forced me into the RocketTheme slave dungeons, where I reside today. Andy's rules were simple, work....design....innovate! There would be no eating, no sleeping, no days off; there would only be templates! Over the past year I began to drop the pounds as Andy's "no eating" rule worked its magic.

      Before RocketTheme (July 2006):

      RocketTheme, taking design...and weightloss....to new heights! :)

(Disclaimer: I lost weight by exercising and eating a balanced, reduced-calorie diet in addition working long hours in the RocketTheme slave dungeons. My results are not typical. Your weight loss, if any, will vary. RocketTheme does not endorse the "RocketTheme Slave Diet" and cautions anyone embarking on a weight-loss plan to consult their physician.)

    • Poor Kevin! I knew Andy was a slave driver! How he got Kevin to enjoy the deprivation is beyond me. Plus, Andy slides around in the Pro Lounge with his smoking jacket and a Miller beer in his hand - while Kevin is rattling chains down in the steamy template dungeon.

      OH, THE HUMANITY!!!

In hopes of producing my own unique template I went to our local hardware store to get a 5 pound can of elbow grease and they looked at me like I was crazy and said that they didn't know what the blazes that I was talking about! :o ;)

To Kevin, keep up the great work pal and congrats on the weight loss!

    • Kevin Great Job and courage to you. More grease to your elbows. Thats what it all means "community spirit" i love. Great Jobs man. Your job cannot be place within the boundaries of what you recieved as money. It cant be valued or payed for. I am sort of addicted to this club aswell, and in the first few months i was gone into exactly the same lines of your tale, but due to other concerns have pulled myself a little bit. i think the biggest thing in this all is satisfaction. James can confirm and everyone else that there is alot of satisfaction in helping someone out with a problem and sure. they and all of us end up satisfied. It is surely addictive, but i think it is worth every second. Courage man and great work

      Keep it up.
