Easy question about static content

    • I have a very simple and probably pretty stupid easy question about static content.

I have an optin box set up in a module to collect names/emails using my AWeber service.

When visitors opt in - I will be redirecting them to a thank you page.

I want to have this thank you page simply be an article or static content page that is wrapped around joomla, so they are not taken anywhere outside of my joomla interface.

      My question is...

What type of page do I need to create (Static or Content) - and how can I make it so that it's not publically showing on a menu, but I can get a URL to put in my optin form to have them redirected to.... that is within joomla?

    • Nevermind, I think I figured it out.

What I did was just create the static content page.... link it to the "Main Menu" - but made it so that it is not visible. Then I had a link I could use :)
