- Even though its not being updated, their should still be a link for joomla 1.5, I currently found my 1.5 version of this admin template and messed around with the issues and problems it had on my end, works like a charm. Just wish you guys hadn't removed it, it would of saved me alot of time searching through my files. Thanks again!

I agree that it was very bad form to remove the download link for this template.
So what if you're not updating it anymore? There are still plenty of people using Joomla 1.5, and even Joomla still supports 1.5 (just got an update today in fact, 1.5.26).
All you have to do is say, "here it is, but we don't support it anymore," is that so hard?
Very, very poor form guys.

- I did have the 1.5 download available for a few months even after I said it would not be supported. Guess what, I continued to get many 1.5 issues posted in the forums.

Or post a link to the "We no longer support," which is what you're doing anyways since you continue to get forum posts about "Where's the download?"
Also, I'll bet you STILL get 1.5 issues posted regardless.
Upgrading a mature Joomla site is just not worth it to many, as it will almost always break. So allowing 'legacy' downloads is just, well, nice.

- I strongly suggest that if you must run Joomla 1.5 to just use the default Khepri admin template. MissionControl is a labor-of-love project for me that I work on in my spare time (of which I have little enough). If you want to take advantage of the improved admin interface it provides, upgrade to Joomla 2.5.

I think you're missing the point. There is no reason NOT to use Mission Control on Joomla 1.5, since neither Mission Control nor Joomla 1.5 will be changing very much in the future. Nor is there any reason to update (and needlessly break) a mature site that does everything you need it to. I'm sure Mission Control 2 has many great improvements, but that's just simply not the issue here.
Basically all I wanted to know was whether or not the Joomla 1.5 site I manage that uses Mission Control had the last version that WAS available, and with no download link for MC 1.5 that's impossible to tell. And when asked, if all you get is "it's no longer available, you need to update," that is not only extremely unhelpful, but it is also bad advice to give to someone who may not be able to fix a broken Joomla update.
At length, I did find it, no thank you.
So for anyone reading this, that last version was MC 1.5.3, and if you want it just pm me, I will gladly send it to you.

Great job on Mission Control 2.6, it works great with no problems so far on the Joomla 2.5 sites I manage, and I love the idle timer that lets you know when you're about to be logged out. Nice touch. Mission Control is hands-down the best Admin template I've used, which is exactly why it was disappointing to see it removed for Joomla 1.5.
So please don't take my disappointment and frustration personally, because all in all I think you're doing quality work here.
