Email notification when someone replies to post

Hi
I joined Rockttheme over a year ago and have made x47 posts.
I’ve never received an email when someone replies to one of my posts and have always gone back onto the RT website to manually check for replies.
It always says I am subscribed to each post so shouldn’t I receive an email notification when someone replies? That’s how other forums seem to work.
Please can you tell me if I am missing something or is there a button I need to press to make the notification happen?
It takes up so much time doing all the checking – there must be a better way!

Thanks for your reply. I always do that but it doesn't make a difference - I still don't receive any emails.
