    Rocket Launcher Problem

    Posted 13 years 2 months ago
    • Hi Everyone!

      I installed the site using rocket launcher with the demo content. Now while I'm in the backend I can not edit anything or upload and install any extensions. I have checked the permissions and don't see anything unusual there. Can this be something in the configuration file I am missing?

      Thanks
      Gary

    • Yes I am. This is what I get when I try to change the ftp settings.

      JFTP::write: Bad response
      An Error has occurred! Unable to open configuration.php file to write!

      The configuration file looks fine and the chmod settings are set to 777. Am I missing something?

      Thanks!

      If your running J25 and have a decent host you really don't need Enable FTP. Folder permissions should be 755 and file permissions should be 644.

      Try running the Fix Permissions function in AKEEBA Admin Tools
