New website 38 Secs to load home page :(

Hello All,
I am using the Modulus Template updated for the latest 2.5x version joomla.
The web site is www.futurelabsgroup.com its my first attempt at using Joomla.
The issue is it takes 38 Seconds to load the home page. I have a pdf report from www.webpagetest.org (Very useful test site). It goes into great detail but the first page is the easiest to understand.
Keeping in mind I need to show the graphics of the new products on this web site. What simple processes can I do to load the home page faster?
GZip is enabled on the server config.
Any help would be appreciated.

I cannot confirm the 38 seconds. The homepage loads within a few seconds.

you should make sure you optimized PHP caching and preencoding by help of an accelerator mentioned here:

Last but not least: Optimizing the database server settings for caching tables etc.
