Looks like I can load the mootools apis from google as appose on my server. Would anyone recommend or not recommend this? Also is it pretty easy to transition to the API? I was reading their "how to" and it doesn't sound like it'd be to difficult. I appreciate the insight.

Just read this on another site:
There are 2 speed benefits by following this approach:

1. We load a compressed copy of Mootools, so from around 73kb it drops to 18kb!

2. We load Mootools from Google, thus our browser can simultaneously (in parallel) download Mootools along with the rest of our site's content.
