menu disappears when i click on Jevent item

Hi I have a Jevents module in my left column. I have it integrated with Jomsocial, which i so awesome.
But whenever I click on an event the screen changes to show the event but my tool bar menu disappears.
Iv echecked my settings and menu setting, Im at a loss.

Ok I think I got the jevents fixed by accident, but the same thing happens with the K2 articles .
whenever I click on an article the screen changes to show the article but my MAIN tool bar menu disappears.
