Looking for book recommendations

    • So not so long ago I discovered Joomla and Rocket Theme and have to say both are amazing. I have no formal training in web design or programming but have been reading some HTML/XHTML and CSS books to educate myself a little on the subject. The book I read is a bit old (Head First HTML with CSS and XHTML - 2006) but was highly recommended and I think gave me a very good understanding of XHTML 1.0 and CSS.

Now, which direction should I go, if my goal is to educate myself further, to be able to play around and edit, and obviously use RT themes for building websites? Even the newest template Ionosphere, is still written in XHTML and not HTML 5. Is that the direction for now? Should I stick to XHTML and CSS and not bother with HTML 5? And good books that you would recommend for jumping from CSS to CSS 3 (btw, can I skip 2 or should I go in order)?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

      And I love you RT!
