    • Hi,

      Can anyone answer or give some insight to this:

      I have worked on a website using a RocketTheme Template which is under a License purchased by ourselves..... the customer has now decided they want to terminate our association and we need to package and send the site on to someone else.

      My question is, what is the situation concerning the license for the template that in effect we have paid for ... does the new company working on the site need to purchase licenses in their name for them to be able to host and work on the site?

      Plus, do we now have a free spare licence to reuse again for a new domain?

      Basically we don't want any association with the site, now that we are not working on it or with the client.

      Any information would be helpful,

    • Our license is for members only. Therefore, you determine who you wish to use the template. Naturally, that maybe subject to an agreement between you and your client, but I suspect in most cases that isn't apparent.

      Accordingly, as a general proposition, I will say that in this situation, either the client or the new developer will need to be a RocketTheme member in order to use our products in the manner described.
