Membership expired but still need help!

i had a membership before but now its expired, but still need some help with the nebulae template, (im planing of buying the phpbb3 membership to get the nebulae).
How to enable news to be displayed in the frontpage as a normal site? since it got a lot of modules in the frontpage.
also im thinking leave the frontpage with modules and making a Menu call NEWS where news will be displayed, but i dont know how to achieve this.
How to make a repeat background in the template as well?
thank you and i hope i can get some support here, even i dont have the membership now,

1) You can disable Modules in the Module Manager, i.e., set which specific pages you want to have them appear on for each specific Module through 'Menu Assignments for each.
2) Create a new Section or Category, Call it 'News', Create a new Menu Item called 'News', link it to the Section or Category, Create your 'News' Articles, save them to the newly created Section / Category.
3) Don't know what you are looking for exactly.
# 1&2 are Joomla basics, #3 is template specific.
If you need further assistance (esp with #3), I suggest renewing and posting in the proper forum.

thank you for responding at this, but im still confused.
1-how to link the menu with the category? i have created the category call News and went to menu to create a new one but donno how to link them. i try weblinks and others but i can see the category to linked.
2-about the background,i want to change the nebulae main background and put another one repeated... like this site www.UFCclan.com i want to use the same background.
3-How to change the color of styles of the template, i want to use a yellow one, but i can only change the letters but no the main menu.

To add ‘News’ to the Main Menu:
Menu Manager > (main menu) Menu Items > New > Articles > Category Blog Layout > Name the Menu ‘News’ > On the right hand side of the page, ‘Select Category’ > ‘News’
# 2&3 are template specific.
If you need further assistance with #2&3, again, I suggest renewing and posting in the proper forum.
