Shadowbox for external url

hi all , i wanted to know if someone can teach me how to use a shadowbox for an external url in the joomla's menu .
with the 1.5 , i used ninja shadowbox and it worked well but when i up to joomla 2.5 ninja shadowbox do not work anymore .
if there is a way
