RocketLauncher is not working on my site, what's wrong??

- i upload the rochetlauncher file to my ftp, and setup the wp user name and database and stup. Yet the Demo content doesnt seems to work. No post, no page, i wonder if this is normal?? Thanks!

Did you unzip the rocketlauncher on your site and do the joomla installation as per instructions?

ok you didn't see which template or cms you were using so i guessed (wrong). Assuming you have downloaded the rocketlauncher for wordpress with a template. The same thing applies - check out the instructions. You basically will have one zip file that you upload on to your server and then unzip there (so you will have several directories and lots of files). The rocketlauncher contains wordpress and the template. So, first you must install wordpress (that you have unzipped from the rocketlauncher) and as part of that installation you install sample data and the template. Please follow the instructions (this is the one for radiance).

I did what you said. but the content is just not showing. When i go to mysite.com//rt_radiance_wp_rocketlauncher, it says the config.php needs to be set up. So I filled in the user name, user pass word and database host, and then it directs me to the wordpress installation page. Is this the correct procedure? Thank you

is your admin page - did you load the sample data?
I'm sorry but I'm a Joomla rather than wordpress expert (I much prefer to joomla to wordpress). You should re-post in the appropriate template wordpress forum rather than this general discussion forum.

I would also like to add something to the Mark's last reply.
Don't send PM with login details unless you are asked for and also it is advisable to send such details to the RT forum moderators.
Don't get me wrong. Mark is really good guy and he proved on many occasions that he is more than willing to help other members to solve their issues. I thank him for that and I am sure all other members feel the same. I am sure that there are some other few of the members' that are also willing to do the same but you never know who will you encounter and who will do something harm to your web site and forum moderators are paid for their job so you can be sure that your web site will be safe with them or at least you will have someone to blame.
Once again, Mark please don't be offended by my remark but I felt I needed to warn new member. Also, as Mark suggested, post your questions in the proper forum in the future and you will certainly get better response and support - Check my services at: Mihha-Vision
