Username instead of name for joomla content

Hello there, this is not a rockettheme specific question, but it would help me loads.
In joomla when an article is written, the name of the user is displayed and not the "username"
Please would you advise me on how to change this.

I guess that this can be done by overriding content view but as you said this is really not a rockettheme specific question so your best option would be to search and/or ask this question on official Joomla forum
