Refraction Template not working properly on iPad

Does anyone know what can be done to make the refraction template work the same on an iPad/Mac as it does on a PC?
I've tried some extensions/plug-in's and I can't get them to do the job. Is there any sort of code that I can add to the php files to fix this?
