Links opening on Home page

I found this article
on the subject but it does not address the situation I am having.
What do you do if these links are not articles but links to more details page that a module may generate. For example, I have RSEvents installed and when it posts an event the name of that event is a link to more details. I would really like for this to show up in RokBox but i would settle for it's own page. Currently it opens in the HOME page.

Hi Houston,
Unfortunately Joomla 2.5 no longer allows any of our previous work arounds. The Dev Team are still trying to find a way to deliver what we referred to as 'menuless pages' in Joomla 1.5
For some reason the Joomla team feel that if it isn't a menu item then you shouldn't have control over where it appears. At this point in time I am unaware of a solution.
