Testing on iphone
Posted 12 years 11 months ago
I cant test on Android devices but the latest templates dont display correctly on iphone. I'm not talking about mobile specific version rendering here I'm talking about having the normal website render in safari on an iphone. It simply doesnt work for the latest template.
I dont consider this to be viable therefore for me to buy new templates which is a shame as I am a previous customer and have been happy with the level of design and quality hard to find anywhere else. I always had the feeling that you race ahead TOO much though and the level of bugs too high - yes you fix eventually but this is a prime example.
These templates seem beta for me.
Please can you let me know if you will geta fix for iphones with retina display >=i4
thanks
Please can you tell us which template you are experiencing problems with - and a screenshot would also be useful if possible.

In fact it looks like it is detecting a mobile and there is no switch to get to the normal site which may display correctly ?
But it does then look like there is an issue with the mobile phone version.
Can people test this and putting the choice in the demo build would be good.
They should work. Ipads and iphones don't like iframes.

Just tested on iphone and works just fine when you use direct link.
Worth remembering that the main menu also scrolls horizontally when you slide finger across.
Cheers

I did check and there is no visual indication this menu slides.
The orientation change is not handled well.
But some things do work well. And for my issue which was the normal site I am happy it can work if I disable mobile version I assume.
So I can appreciate this is the main function.
For my mobile version I prefer cut down app like buttons loosing very much the site design but gaining a lot of uX
