Greetings, this is a general knowledge question that I just haven't been able to discover myself after extensive searching before posting.
I'm building a site using an older template 'iridium'. I uploaded the template and extensions to an already installed Joomla 2.5 (latest version). I did not use the rocket launcher method.
My question is how do I point an added module to use the templates css for module titles and such (suffixes). I have no problem simply adding the suffix to the proper location in modules, on full rocketlauncher installs, but when I add the template manually (with extensions package) I get what I guess is the Joomla styling on added modules, but the proper styling from the template on the 'main' module. For instance, If I make a new 'single article' menu item, that single article does have the 'irridium' styling. But if I add another module to the same page, it's styling is being overridden.
Im fairly new but learning fast. I use Firebug and can find many things (an awesome learning tool indeed). But I also cant seem to find where I would turn off compression on this older template to aid me in locating the source of my problems.
Here is a link to a sample page. I want the box on the left, with the images, to have the same styling as the article.
Well, i was just editing the article on the link above, just turning off Author & Publish info so that it didn't display, and then whole site broke. I have no clue why, when and changed the changes back to "show", knowing full well this should have had nothing to do with the whole template disappearing. (it's still my default template). But in short, you can now not see what I was referring to above. This older template has been acting odd for days...
