Updating Templates and Extensions

One of the great features of Joomla! 2.5 is that it has the ability to update your Joomla! and extensions from the backend with one click. This saves time and disk space as you don't have to horde version upon version of extensions. You no longer have to worry about updating the wrong packages and the such.
The question I keep asking myself is this: "Why is it that one of the leaders in Joomla! extensions and templates has not utilized this feature?" Of course I am talking about RocketTheme.
Why is it that we can't simply update our extensions and templates from within Joomla! like we can do with Gantry?

(Maybe if enough people have this same desire it will become a part of the products we all pay for....)

Good question Bill - I've often wondered this ...
Just this morning I was able to quickly update my JCE, Akeeba & NoNumber extensions with a simple update click.
Even if it was "just" the RT extensions that followed the standard Joomla process would make thing so much easier.
I understand template updates might be a little more awkward if possible at all.
So this gets my vote

Really, only 1 other person likes this idea? Come on people! We pay for this service and it should be working for us the best way it can. I would be happy with just the extensions as well.
I wonder if it is possible for RocketTheme to create an extension/plugin that would control template overrides. That way if templates were ever a part of the one-click upgrade system that customizations wouldn't be lost. Not sure that even makes sense! lol
