  • Bootstrap?

    • I just watched the JUX webinar and they were discussing Bootstrap. I heard in there that you are going to using this for your themes.

      Are you using it now anywhere?
      Will you be primarily using bootstrap as a base for your future templates?

      I am currently using bootstrap on side projects and love it. Besides it being totally responsive, it is very easy to prototype sites and interfaces.

      It's been a while since I have used any templates (thanks RT for helping me learn how to build my own) but will be very excited to see how you can make templates that are lean and easy to customize without the usual bulkiness and long load times.

    • We are not using Bootstrap right now.
      Gantry 4 will be "responsive"
      My guess is some ideas from Bootstrap will probably make its way into G4
      but I think it won't be 100% Bootsstrap.

      My own opinion about BS is:
      Right now all Bootstrap sites look the same (takes less than 10 sec to recognize a BS page).
      It's just skinning BS a bit with colors etc ... maximum boredom if you ask me.
      Seems like ppl just don't get the ideas behind bootstrap ...
