  • Joomla Redirect, too many expired links- no referring page

    • If I may jump on this post....

      If turning off the Joomla redirect is not an option ( gotta have the custom Clarion 404 page) what would the best way to handle this? I'm getting really weird expired links that look like actual pages that should be served from the site. There are no referring pages for reference which leads me to believe that some configurations on the site are incorrect, although I'm unable to figure this out.

      Was anyone else able to find out the problem? I can PM admin my logins to look and see if it's my template configuration and menu links....

      I've already added over 100 new links last night and like this post:

      there are so many and more every day.

      Any ideas - having visitors see 404's not good, even if it's a nice custom one ;)

      did you also see reply from Ben at the end of the thread?

      Maybe you should use some additional SEF extension like sh404sef?
