I've been trying to set up my Virtuemart cart for almost 2 weeks and I've run into a few problems I can't get past. Before I throw in the towel maybe someone can helpme out.
Problem 1
I set up a "Latest Products" Module and I set it to display only on the home page. The problem is when an item is selected it gets displayed UNDER the "Latest Products" section instead of by itself on a "different page" I'm stumped because I figured the "Latest Products" section would not show because of the page change.

CLICK ON AN ITEM AND YOU CAN SEE WHAT I MEAN!
Any ideas how to fix this??
Problem 2
I've edited the flypages and browse pagee trying to customize the look but no matter what I do the layouts remain the same (For the record, I've changed the settings in the Config Menu and the categories menus as well)

try the virtuemart forums ...
if they dont answer your question i've found its because they've answered it so many times before they just don't even bother pointing you in the right direction .... just search for it

That was the very first place I checked and I figured the question had to be asked so searched and searched before I even posted the problem. Sucks to be me!
I do appreciate the reply tho' at least someone tried to help ;D

I already have it set to MainMenu/Home but that's not the problem. I'm thinking that there must be some kind of pointer(s) necessary because I have sections 'New On DVD' and 'DVD Preorders set up in "user 3' and "user 4" sections and set to also appear only on the first page as well. When you are on the first page you see the latest Products list along with DVD sections but when you click an item the Latest Products and DVD sections remain which leads me to believe there may need to be a pointer for the actual products, once "clicked on" to open in a different page.
Still looking! :'(

Fabian,
I haven't tested this, but is your latest products module published to your frontpage only?
If it's published to "all", then change it.
