    Text shadow needed

    • I am using some transparencies in conjunction with a light background and I need to know if I can add a dropshadow to all my text. I have tried adding some properties I have found to firebug but havent had any luck. the site is www.southbay.cc

      Try adding the following code to the bottom of template.css...
      body {
      text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #FF0000;
}
      This would a red shadow to all text (unless overriden by higher css specifity) that was 1px to right, 1px down, and spreads 1px deep. Change settings to suit your needs.

    • Hi Mark,

      I haven't tried it but the author does say not suitable for large amounts of text. Looks like you have to enter text twice which may upset search engines.
