    Joomla Form Creator

Posted 12 years 8 months ago
    • This is my current information:
      Using Joomla 1.5.26
      Clarion Rockettheme Template
      www.AbuseOnMen.org
      Form Creator: Fabrik 2.0

I just installed Fabrik 2.0 and can add fields, but cannot add dropdowns, radio buttons, etc. If I change the element type to a dropdown or radio button and click the "Add" button to add the available choices for the dropdown or radio button, it just sits there and does nothing. Is anyone familiar with Fabrik or know of a form creator that is easy to implement and use?

      Thanks...

    • I haven't used Fabrik, do they have tech support or a forum on their site?

I have used RSForm & RSForm Pro and they both work very well & are very easy to use & create drop downs & radio buttons, etc... Try the free RSForm first, it probably has enough features, if not & you like it you can upgrade to the RSForm Pro version.

    • Thanks!!! I wanted to get some input before implementing another module. There is tech support for Fabrik, but I still have not received any response from them.

    • I did some research on RSForm Basic, but cannot determine if it allows the data entered into a form to be stored in a database. My end goal is to have all the information stored into a database so I can pull reports, etc to analyze the data.

    • Yes, all form submissions are stored in the database & you can login to the backend & view & manage the submissions & choose which ones to export or export them all to a .csv file.

    • Have you tried using Fabrik with a different browser?

    • Yes, I have tried Google Chrome, IE9, and Firefox. Using Fabrik, when I attempt to add another "element" (field) and select it to be a radio button or drop down, nothing happens and will not let me save the form. I installed RSForm Basic, but none of the icons are showing up. What could be causing the icons not to show up in RSForm Basic?

      Thanks...

    • Just to add that I too use RSform Pro and find it the perfect solution.

Lightweight and VERY easy to build new forms.
