RT Clarion Template Logo - how to put it on top of positions

Hi,
I am working on a Clarion template for a website, I am really happy with the template, but our logo really needs a big space to be put in.
The problem is that when I put the logo in, the navigation buttons became very large (which doesn't look nice at all).
Is there a way to move the logo to the front (put it on top of the slideshow in the z dimension) so that, in its original size, the top half of the logo would be aligned with the navigation buttons and the bottom half would overlap (be on top of) the slideshow (in the z dimension)?
