Point taken. I'll try to update more often even if its not necessarily good news :)

I'd be happy to tip my hat in, somehow, and help with the communications.
    • Thank you,

    • @ Andy - Thanks - Bad/Developing news is better than no news.
      ....
Which returns me to the question at hand that has still not been answered.
      ....
How long until RT has anything ready for 3.0? One week? Two weeks? Three weeks? Longer?

    • We are shooting to get the next template out in just a few days with Joomla 3.0 Support so that means: Template, Gantry4, RokNavMenu, RokPad, RokBooster, RokSprocket, RokBox, RokAjaxSearch, and RokCandy.

More extensions and templates to be released in the next couple of weeks after this first batch.

    • Are we in a race with other clubs here? Ever wonder why RT is copied so widely? I'd rather have quality than quantity.

I trust RT to put out products that work instead of just throwing it out to see if it sticks, breaking my site and THEN offering a "fix." If Joomla Team states this version is not for production environment, there's a reason. I know this because I'm working on it myself. I wouldn't put it out there for a client right now. It would be an injustice to the client. Too risky and too many developers need to catch up.

Keep up the hard work (but don't forget to take a break) RTeam. I'm happy to wait because I'm rarely disappointed with the results.

Trick or Treat, everyone! I like treats.

    • My question would be: Are we able to upgrade 2.5 sites wit the update feature in 2.5 to 3.0. Are my sites going to be outdated again and take a major pain in the ass update like 1.5 sites do/did.

According to what I have read the upgrade from 2.5 to 3.x will be a click of a button in your back-office. And this is why I don't worry about using J3.0 before its stable.

    • Just FYI in case you missed it. So far today we have released a new version of Gantry Framework version 4.1.0 which includes support for Joomla 2.5 and 3.0.

Also we've released the following extensions: RokPad, RokBooster, RokNavMenu, RokCandy, RokAjaxSearch, RokBox and of course RokSprocket for Joomla 2.5 and 3.0.

New Joomla club template will be released soon also for 2.5 and 3.0.
