SOLVED Logo not displaying on assigned pages

Joomla 2.5.7, Gantry 4.05, default RT template
My logo is assigned via the template manager for the default template. After creating an override in which this logo was turned off to make way for a different logo in the same position (assigned via custom HTML module on selected pages only), the default logo will no longer display anywhere.
I guess a workaround could be to simply assign the original logo with another custom HTML module but I thought I'd raise the question anyway.
Can anyone think of where I may have gone wrong here? - Last Edit: 12 years 6 months ago by Glen.

You're gonna need to explain a little more . . . where is the logo assigned and on which pages, and what code did you use to 'hide' it?
I took a look but can't see anything. - CMYKreative : Graphic Design , Web Design , Printing , Banner Ads , Branding and more.

I assigned the duplicate/override as the default template.
I reverted the MASTER template back to default but the logo was still missing. When I selected the logo & custom logo check boxes in the override template, the logo returned on the front end.
