Joomla Multi Site Management

    • I have been looking for a management option that would sinc all of our Joomla builds across the board for easier management and changing of content. We are getting ready to deploy some simple marketing for quick site builds and plan to build 200+ sites a month based on Joomla installs.

I hope this makes sense but here were some of the things we were looking to do:
-Content changes across all sites (individually or all at once)
-Change extensions from a single dashboard for any and all sites
      -updates for all sites
-user management from a single dashboard for all sites
-(hosting dependent) - one touch installs for the customer to purchase and install selected Joomla package + theme with filler content that we set up.

The dashboard on a single install of 2.5 is awesome but I want our staff to be able to manage 50+ websites at a time from a single login and monitor all of the clients operations.

My question: Is this possible or am I looking at a pipe dream? Obviously I would have to either upgrade all sites from older Joomla versions 1.5 + to the most recent versions as they come out.

Thoughts? I believe wordpress has something similar but it is still a little clunky.
I love the Gantry system that RT provides. Any plans to build something for the RT community or no?

    • Nothing planned for Gantry that I'm aware of. You could certainly add the suggestion to the Requests forum and see what happens. Have you checked out the multi site extensions listed in JED? extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-en...ments/multiple-sites
