i would like to know if it's possible to make the gantry.css file in the same folder that the style.css
file or template.css file of my gantry template

Hi Philippe,
The base Gantry files need to stay together. These are used as a fall back to use if no alternative css is placed within the template. Please bear in mind that css needs to be specific and this is why some extensions have their own css style sheets rather than add to the template folder.
You can make your own overrides and make css !important (but only as a last resort as you could affect many items if you are not specific enough).
