updates broke the login

I ran admin updates a while back via the Joomla admin panel, and i vaguely recall maybe gantry and possibly some templates updates...not sure... in any case, did the updates then went away for a while.
Today i try to log in on my site karateshotokan.ca using the login section on the bottom and i get the following error
Fatal error: Call to a member function init() on a non-object in /home/kara6768/public_html/templates/rt_diametric/html/com_users/login/default_login.php on line 14
I've been searching on the web for answers but haven't found much...the only thing i found was this post mentione rocketThemes having some issues

Any help would be appreciated, I can't even login via karateshotokan/administrator either.

You will have to install latest version of Gantry and template to fix this issue

Try to rename the following file
/templates/rt_diametric/html/com_users/login/default_login.php
to
/templates/rt_diametric/html/com_users/login/default_login.php.bak
That will stop web site to use login override so you should be able to login to the site - Check my services at: Mihha-Vision
