    Does Gantry/Syndicate add page title to every page

    • Hi
      I'm having an issue with RSSEO adding Joomla page titles from 'Global Config'. Whenever I write a new title and save it adds the Joomla title text again. The guys at RSS tell me that some templates have this line of code in index.php
      $this->setTitle($mainframe->getCfg('sitename').' - '.$this->getTitle());
      that makes this happen - I can't seem to find it to comment it out. Can someone tell me whether it's there or not?

    • It's not the theme most likely, and definitely not Gantry.

      These days, we don't override the Joomla content at all. In our older themes, any code that may exist that is similar to your example is controlled by settings in Joomla, nothing is ever hard coded in there, there is always an option or setting in Joomla that turns it on or off.
    • The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.
