Can't modify template

  • Can't modify template

    • I have installed the Leviathon template, and want to make some customizations (ie add a background image, change some of the color settings...). When I click on the Leviathon Style in Template Manager, I get "An error has occurred. No HTTP response code found.". My only option is to "Return to Control Panel".

    • You are using Joomla 3.0x?

      There can be many reasons for this error message..

      1. Your server cannot connect to Joomla's update server and so on.

      2. Some users get this message when they're using K2 and other plugins.

      3. Something is wrong in .htaccess and/or the SEF component.

      I suggest that you enable full error reporting in the Joomla admin to get more clues about what's going on.

    • Using Joomla 3.0.3

      1.) Changed Update server from Short Term to Long Term, got the same error (then switched back to Short Term). I've already updated Joomla at lease once, so I am guessing that this is not the issue.

      2.) The only plugins I have installed are Easy Folder Listing Pro, and JCE Editor.

      3.) Not sure how to check/trouble shoot this, am a newbie.

      I changed the error reporting to Maximum and then to Development - got the same error with both settings. Any further assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
