    • I need to move my joomla from the subdirectory /joom to the orginal root. Can anyone help?

      I just don't want to simply move it and mess up everything.

    • You should be able to just move the contents of /joom to the root and edit the configuration.php to reflect the path changes. You should need to change:

      $mosConfig_absolute_path
      $mosConfig_cachepath
      $mosConfig_live_site

      If all you are changing is the path, you shouldn't need to modify any database values.
