images not appearing in Chapelco articles

I am having issues with using images in Chapelco template. In the editor, I select the image icon and choose an image from the media library. The image appears in the editor. However when I save
and reopen the file, I get a ? icon.
How do I resolve this issue

Which editor do you use? Did you try some other editor? Did you try to ask this question in official Joomla forum since this has nothing to do with our templates or extensions?

I am using Editor TinyMCE and Editor JCE. I tried both these editors and I have the same problem. If I edit any of the demo articles in the Chapelco template, all the images disapear
when I click on the save button in the editor. The version of the template is 3.0

- Disable Magic Quotes in php.ini or through CPanel.
