500 internal error

Installed Leviathan 1.1 Gantry 4.1.8 on joomla 2.5.9

When I try to get to the settings via Template Manager: Styles and try to reach the settings I'll get an 500 internal error.
if I disable the Gantry i can reach the template but then I have no settings to change
What can I do to fix this issue ?
I've installed another template from other template builder because we want to move forward, but i really would like to use the Leviathan

In the Joomla admin please enable error reporting and then check the logs for more clues.
Maybe you do not have enough memory allowed for PHP. It could also be an issue with permissions. - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.

I believe this is the same issue I had today. I was transferring a site from localhost to my server and got a 500 XML error. Going to System-->Clear Cache and deleting anything Gantry did the trick for me.
This was on a joomla 3.0 site and gantry 4.1.8

But I cleared cache multiple times.
made the time cache period longer shorter, activated gzip compression
but no results
