    • Is rocket theme templates flexible enough for an e-commerce site? What extensions do you recommend for an online selling of books(pdf/ebooks)?

    • Hi there,

The biggest issue will be finding a suitable ecommerce extension that will meet your needs and be flexible enough to work with RT templates. We already have some older templates that were designed around ecommerce, such as Halcyon.

I have seen Virtuemart 2 used with various templates, including Leviathan, Syndicate and others.

Whichever way you go there will be custom work required somewhere.

      Hope this helps 8)

    • We also have a Magento club: demo.rockettheme.com/magento/

I don't know if it will suite your needs though.

    • It really depends on your needs, if you have lots of items and you need a lot of payment options then maybe Magento is right your you.

It's nothing like Joomla, but it is a great ecommerce solution (the best in my opinion). There's a bit of a learning curve, but it's a very well designed system. And our templates make things a little easier too :cheesy:
