Might be possible to hack it, although it really depends on what exactly you are trying to accomplish.
If I *had* to do it, this is the method that immediately comes to mind:
1. Create a "blank" template (one that displays the main content area only, no other modules, etc)
2. Create an item that has the Expose gallery, and use the template manager to assign the blank template to that item only
3. Edit the admin component to include an iFrame that points to the URL of the item that you just created
Ugly, I know, but actually minimal in terms of intrusion into the core of Joomla!
I assumed you meant the drop-down sliding panel in colormatic (which has been called a control panel before).
If my assumption is correct, do steps one and two as suggested by Mathew, then use a wrapper module published to the control panel position and pointing to the component page (with a template that only shows the mainbody and nothing else.
Yes Gollumx I'm referring to the sliding panel in colormatic. Actually I'm using VersatilityIII but I think it's the same controlo panel.

(it's a work in progress so be indulgent..)
Basically I'm trying to move the gallery (Click on "Vai alla galleria" to see the gallery) inside the control panel.
Yup, you'd need to do it as i mentioned in the previous post.
Although it can be done, I wouldn't advise it at all. It'll make your home page take much much longer to load.. as the whole flash gallery loads in the background.
