    • I'm not familiar with using RocketLauncher as I have not needed to use it - however you can simply install the firenzie template via the Admin CP/ Installers/ Templates - Site.

Of course using this method you will not have the demo content installed as you would with RocketLauncher.

      Yes.

As far as I know, (and I could be wrong) you have to have Joomla installed in order to use RocketLauncher - please correct me if I am wrong guys.

Actually, RocketLauncher contains a full Joomla install in addition to the demo content and template. So, by running the RocketLauncher, you will be both installing a new copy of Joomla 1.0.13 (which is necessary as the demo content is inserted during the joomla install process) as well as the demo content and template. RocketLauncher won't work with an existing Joomla install.

Just upload the contents of the Joomla_RT_Templatename folder inside the zip, to your root directory on the server (same as you would with a normal Joomla install package) then point your browser to the root to begin the installation.

    • no, you do not need to install joomla first... just setup the MySQL DB, then run the setup.

You are most likely getting the error because you uploaded the folder (instead of the contents of the folder) to your site and failed to make your live-site www.yousite.com/joomla_rt_firenzie/

    • Well, let's see...

I recommend to everyone to upload the contents of the joomla_rt_firenzie folder and not necessarily the folder its-self. But, if you are satisfied with the way you have it uploaded then do the following...

First rename the joomla_rt_firenzie folder to something like /main or /home. Then set your configuration.php file to reflect what you did (ie. www.yoursite.com/home ).

Next, create a redirect .php file and place it in the root of your hosting account.
