CPU limit due to timthumb.php

- How do we fix this CPU problem with our host so that we don't use more than 20% of the shared server? They are saying we need to optimize and that the timthumb.php is the problem. Do you have an update to address this? Our site is topiainn.com using refraction theme using wordpress at greengeeks.com host.
