    • This was posted by Buschmaster54 at www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?t=20426&rb_v=viewtopic

      "While you are at "it" You could explain in detail (which I cannot find anywhere) how to change the pictue behind each page of the site. If that make sense. I am one of those 10 kinds of people and I am just learing "gobbly gook". That is why I have spent over 10K getting someone else to do it. Don't say it I have found out on my own ($). But I need help anywhere and everywhere I can get it to make my "vision" a reality."

      I guess you mean changing the background picture for different menu items. Or did I misunderstand? ???
      You can apply different styles using the same template, linking different menu items in this way, for example:

      menu item 1 -> index.php?tstyle=style10
      menu item 2 -> index.php?tstyle=style9
      menu item 3 -> index.php?tstyle=style5

      etc.

      P.S.: The next time you look for help please answer the reply posts...
      P.P.S.: I'm also one of the 10 different kinds of people :)

    • alright lets say I have 5 game leagues on my sight and the templates I am going with can have different backgrounds (gaming pics) for their themes I want a different background for each league.game and something unique for the the front page. this being a community site there are blogs, forums, and the personal profile page which in my opinion should be a little different than the rest of the pages when so many member are pluging in their , myspace stuff, utube, mp3 players and many other creative themes they come up with. I know the possibilities are endless I am just trying to figure out how to make the same template unigue on different pages thoughout the site. Damn it sucks to be uneducated about something and trying to explain what I want. Sorry guys. I will keep researching until I get it.

    • menu item 1 -> index.php?tstyle=style10
      menu item 2 -> index.php?tstyle=style9
      menu item 3 -> index.php?tstyle=style5
      so this is how to give each template it own unique name? When I assign or put a different pic on the template i just edit/add a style number to it? At least somebody understood stupidity. this is where I am headed next to edit, upload, then repeat the process. I hope. Thanx for the info guys!

    • No, you will use the same template! A style is NOT a template.
      A template is, for example, Replicant, which you use. It has many different styles. Open index.php of your template and look at line 23:

      $default_style = "style1"; // custom | [style1... style10]

      You see that the default style is style1. You can personalize each one of the styles, using your favourite colors and background picture (all the backgrounds are in the folder images/bg of your replicant template).
      Then link the different menu items of your site appending this to your item link:

      ?tstyle=style1

      or

      ?tstyle=style5

      or

      ?tstyle=style3

      etc.
