also - south africa are going to be competing in the qualifiers!* first time since 1934 that a host nation has done this ..
also - the qualifying groups are quite different - you can read more about how each group qualifies here:

i quite fancy england to get through. but i did also in the euro .. long way off though.
anyone going to SA for it?
*they're competing as qualification for africa cup of nations that will also be taking place in 2010 and if they get to the second stage of the africa qualifiers then there points will only go towards that and not the world cup - which they are automatically in because they are hosting - Last Edit: 17 years 5 months ago by damo.

- tickets will go on general sale sometime in february 2009 .. chances are actually quite good if you are resident in the USA as the number of applicants is, maybe not surprisingly, not as high as most european countries

Its horrible, there are cranes every were, the city is a mess - and as it is the traffic is bad, *sigh* cant wait for 40'000 more people in my city ! woopy !?

- yeah i was really excited for sa while watching the draws on tv! i guess they potrayed alot of promising confidence! for every reason ive got to be in sa sometime
