- can i have a look at your full script? i.e the mod_cblogin.php you might have left out some punctuations

I was using that script in place of the mod_cblogin.php and was going to have it as a stand alone module, just a small module showing new messages. However, even if I add it onto the end of the mod_cblogin.php it still gives that same error on whatever line the
global $database, $my->id ;
falls on. If you're stumped I'll just try and find another way. Thanks for all your help so far.

- If you download the latest uddeIM module, you will find in it a replacement CB_Login module that presents the number of messages a user has. The module is mod_cblogin_11pl2.zip and is located in the Patches directory after unzipping the main archive.
