- I just became a member about a few hours ago. Since then I've been reading the how to tutorials and whatever interests me in the forums. Is it really that easy to create a website just by these templates alone? I know nothing about CSS, HTML, Coding, etc. Do I need a webmaster? Or can I become my very own?

Scott...first and foremost, welcome to RT!
The longer your are here the more you will appreciate this community. It really is that easy. Install Joomla, install the template via Joomla Admin and WHA-LA! You have an excellent site at your fingertips just screaming for you to feed it some content.
Since you are just starting out. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you install Firebug (check out my sig) for FireFox. It will become your best friend when trying to customize these templates to your liking. I couldn't live without it not to mention that if you get stuck you can post your issue in these forums w/ a link and most likely James, Yves, Mike, Kevin, or someone will help you resolve it! The community is one of the best on the internet IMO!

- I guess the bottom line is yes, it is that easy...however, to get the best out of your site (and Joomla to some extent), to really break the mold, to become unique, that's where the hard part comes in.
