- This is a stupid question...I just need affirmation! I just downloaded a template and I have no clue of how to modify it, nevertheless, I went through Rocket-Tutorials and was able to install it, after several attempts and with some help. I also watched and read about Custom Modules, Menu Options, Custimisation, and so on and so-forth. I'm not getting it! Do I need to know PHP, CSS, XHTML, and so on? Or can I do this without all of that. I like the idea of CUT and PASTE, but, from what I have read and watched it's nothing like CUT and PASTE! In fact it's far beyond CUT and PASTE....

Hey Scott,
For editing templates you most likely won't need to learn PHP or XHTML, but a little CSS knowledge would go along way.
I would recommend you download the Firebug add-on for Firefox - addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843
It allows you to see what code is effecting what you see.
