I really like how on these SMF forums the Home/Help/Rules/Search/Profile seem to be more a part of Joomla than the normal links in SMF. Adding those links to the menu in Joomla shouldn't be a problem. But...
Is there a simple way to remove all those buttons AND the login/registration buttons in the default SMF template?
