    New tutorial made - Blogtopia get's a face lift...

    • I mailed Andy a new tutorial, where Blogtopia get's a nice face lift :)

      He is a busy guy, so I am not sure when it will go public, but in case you are curious read a little here:
      www.beta-code.com/

      Oh and if you have ideas for tutorials, feel free to send me a pm of some sort.

      Regards Thomas

    • Hello...thats funy...I was just working on that old template. I'm looking for a whay to get less space inbetween the topmenu items, horizontal. Not all the same but every topmenuitem his own width. No succes at the moment :-\...here is the code inside md_blogtopia/suckerfish/suckerfish.css.

      /* top level buttons */

      #nav li {
      float: left;
      padding: 0;
      background: none;
      width: 130px;

      }

      Next to this I have put a extra module on top...search and logo above picture in header.

      Technical not good but it works.

      Hope to see the template soon than...would be great if the horizontal menu is better...more like in this template from Rockettheme was in the beginning with dropmenu's in this template. This distence is what I ment...Joomla template club is bigger than contact.

      Thanks,

    • Hehe oldies but goodies :)

      If you saw the link to the result of the tutorial you will notice that the top horizontal menu was killed in my tutorial:
      www.beta-code.com/modifications/ecb/

      I might get some time looking that it though, but for this "job" the horizontal menu was not needed.

    • Thanks for your fast reply Thomas!

      Yes I did see that there was not a horizontal menu. :D ...would be great if it was possible and better than the old one. Better spacing.

      many thanks!

      Hang on, don't take too much time Andy, lol. My membership runs out on July 7th and, for now due to financial constraints, I won't be able to renew immediately, so if the template is released after that I won't be able to get it and I'll be a template short.....and I'm really looking forward to this one :-[

      Great tutorials by the way Thomas.
