Menu gradient and active menu item color

Hi, I need to change some things in the main manu. It will be great for me to remove:
- the gradient (opening the menu, I prefer transparent)
- when I click to some button, I prefer it without any style, it will be perfect if the normal character becomes just bold.
I would be happy to know how to do these modifications. Here bellow you could see the example:
